Romans prized salt as “white gold” for its preserving and beautifying qualities, and the saline graduation tower at Słotwiny Arena in Krynica-Zdrój brings these benefits to life today. Inhaling its fine salty mist delivers vital iodine and trace minerals without a seaside trip—one hour here is equivalent to three days of Baltic Sea air.
Krynica-Zdrój has long drawn spa enthusiasts seeking inhalations and balneotherapy. This wooden inhalatorium, nestled beneath the observation tower, blends centuries-old healing traditions with the restorative power of the surrounding forest.
Built from timber and slender branches and fed by pumped brine, the tower generates an aerosol rich in iodine, magnesium, calcium and other health-supporting elements. A gentle walk or jog inside helps circulate these airborne minerals throughout your body, refreshing your respiratory system, revitalizing your skin and boosting overall well-being.
The saline aerosol supports the respiratory, nervous and immune systems. Inhaling it can help with:
You’ll find various inhalatoria across Poland, but we hope our graduation tower will capture your heart!
Combine active relaxation with health-care and make salt inhalations at Słotwiny Arena a regular part of your well being routine.
The water in our graduation tower comes from the Solankowa Kraina medicinal water mine.
It’s drawn from the “Sól-Tężnia” intake (SW2) in the village of Sól, Żywiec County. Brine springs in this area have been known and documented since the 15th century, and since the 19th century doctors and local mountain residents have used them for therapeutic purposes.
This brine water has long been an indispensable source of iodine and many other health supporting minerals and it still is today.
